We’re a fast-casual restaurant Rooted in simplicity, transparency, and trust – hence our name Rooted. Every item on our menu is crafted with 7 ingredients or less, including olive oil and spices, so you know exactly what’s on your plate. Our concept meets the growing demand for ingredient transparency, catering to those with dietary preferences (Whole30, keto, gluten-free, vegan) as well as food allergies and intolerances.

It all started when a young woman developed allergies to everyday ingredients and suddenly needed to know exactly what was in her food when dining out. But when she looked closer, she realized most fast-casual restaurants weren’t transparent about their ingredients. She started asking questions, and what she found was alarming—hidden ingredients, inflammatory oils, and low quality food. “Why isn’t it easy to know what’s in the food we eat?” she wondered. She told her friends. “I want to create a restaurant you can trust where every ingredient is clear and high quality,” she said. “Make it simple for everyone,” advised one. “Yes! I’ll make every item have 7 ingredients or fewer and I’ll build trust through transparency,” she exclaimed. And Rooted was born.
